Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Review

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a great Android phone launched back in 2013, packed with an enormous 6.3 inches display, a great 1.7 gigahertz Dual-Core processor, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.9 megapixels front side camera.

Samsung decided to power the Mega 6.3 using a high performance Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1700 MHz, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8930AB system chip with a huge 1,5 GB RAM memory. Graphic calculations generally eats a lot of CPU time, so the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has an additional Adreno 305 graphic processing unit speeding at 450 megahertz to help the processor with those tasks. A nice advantage of this cellphone is its 8 GB quite large internal storage and a slot for an external memory card, which allows you to install a couple hundred games and applications without any problem.

This phone is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone of this size. Samsung made this cellphone in two color options, black and white. The Mega 6.3 is only 6.6" long, but it is able to fit a a 6.3 inches display. This cellphone has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.31".

This phone provides wifi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G fast connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, a lower speed 4G type and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Mega 6.3 works with a Micro SIM card for GSM services and it can work with both GSM and CDMA carriers.

The Mega 6.3 also comes with lots of useful features as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
