Samsung Galaxy Q Review

Samsung Galaxy Q is a decent phone launched many years ago, coming with a 3.2" touch-screen, a good CPU clocking at 600 MHz and a 3 MP back camera. Let's take a better look at what this device can give us.

Apparently Samsung forgot about weight optimization in this 4.58 oz device. Whereas this cellphone is 4.48" long, it only comes with a way smaller 3.2" display. This cellphone is a bit thick compared to nowadays phones, being as thick as 0.55".

Samsung decided to equip this phone with a powerful processing unit clocking at 600 MHz.

This phone only has a 3 MP back side camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 320x240 (QVGA) at 14 fps. Additionally, the camera counts with flash.

The Q is equipped with a mediocre x 3.2-inches screen, making images look less detailed.

This phone provides wifi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone features a mid capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides this device a poor battery life comparing with other similar cellphones. Samsung reports a 5.5 hs talk time and a 364 hs stand by time for this phone.

This phone also comes with a handful of interesting features like Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

Samsung is selling this cellphone for $ 290, which is a high price for comparing with similar phones.
