Samsung Galaxy S Duos Review

Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a pretty good Android phone, counting with a good performance 1000 MHz CPU, a 4" multi-touch display, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

The S Duos is powered by a fast 1 gigahertz processing unit, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A chip with 768 MB of RAM memory. Graphic intensive apps often consume lots of CPU time, so this phone uses a 200 megahertz Adreno 200 (enhanced) graphics processing unit to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. This phone has a decent 4 GB internal storage memory, which is quite good considering it also has an external memory card slot to store songs, photographs and videos.

This phone is for sale in white color. It seems like Samsung forgot about optimizing the weight in this 4.23 ounces cellphone. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos's thickness (0.41") is a little far from current standards, but it still feels comfortable in the user's hand.

The S Duos is equipped with a very good 800 x 480 4 inches screen, giving this phone a good graphical experience. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It can also capture videos in 640x480 (VGA). Additionally, this phone's camera also has a couple of nice features: flash, auto-focus, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone provides wi-fi connection (which can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device has dual sim so it's able to use 2 different phone numbers.

The Samsung Galaxy S Duos also comes with a few nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device is very expensive considering it costs 249 dollars, and some similar cellphones are being sold much cheaper than that. No matter if you need a cellphone for playing games or will use it majorly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely be very satisfied with it.
