Sony Ericsson C905a Review

Sony Ericsson C905a is a low level cellphone launched many years ago, packed with a small sized 2.4 inches screen and an 8.1 MP back facing camera.

Sony didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.8 ounces phone, much heavier than other similar cellphones. This phone is a little thick compared to current cellphones, with a thickness of 0.71". This phone isn't really a compact device, taking into account that it is 4.09 inches long and 1.93 inches wide,but it just holds a 2.4" screen.

This cellphone comes with a 163,84 MB internal memory, which might be adequate for basic users considering this cellphone also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, photographs and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

Sony designed this cellphone with an average 2.4" display, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), giving this device a nice image quality.

This cellphone offers WiFi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a router) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone has only an 8.1 megapixels back side camera. This camera also counts with digital image stabilization and flash.

This phone counts with a poor capacity 950 mAh Li-Polymer battery providing this phone with a not very long battery duration. Sony reports a 9 hours talk time and a 380 hours stand by time for this device.

This cellphone also comes with a couple of nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS, and Accelerometer.

This phone costs around 269 dollars, which is expensive for a phone this level.
