Sony Ericsson Elm Review

Sony Ericsson Elm is a low-end phone, provisioned with a small sized 2.2" display and a 5 MP back camera.

It seems like Sony decided not to care much about the weight in this 3.17 oz phone. Sony made this cellphone in 2 color options, black and red. This phone is quite thick for today's standards, being as thick as 0.55". The Sony Ericsson Elm is 4.33 inches long, but it is only able to pack a way smaller 2.2" display.

This cellphone counts with a poor 286,72 MB internal storage, which may be adequate for basic users knowing that it also has a slot for SD memory cards to store songs, photographs and videos and even some applications that can be installed in the external memory.

This device only features a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. This cellphone also features a few good features like flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

Sony equipped this cellphone with a good 2.2" screen, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), making everything look quite nice.

This cellphone offers wi-fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

This phone also features a handful of interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Navigation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone comes with a 1000 mAh small sized Li-Polymer replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. This phone has a reported 430 hours stand by time and a 10 hours talk time.

This phone is very overvalued considering it is sold for $ 260, while many similar phones are being sold much cheaper than that.
