Sony Ericsson Yari a Review

Sony Ericsson Yari a is a not very powerful phone launched some years ago, in 2009, featuring a 5 megapixels back side camera and a small sized 2.4 inches screen.

This cellphone isn't really a compact cellphone, considering it is 3.94" long and 1.89 inches wide,but it just contains a 2.4 inches screen. This cellphone is quite thick for current standards, with a thickness of 0.62 inches. Sony made this phoneavailable just in 2 different color options: black and white. Sony forgot about weight optimization in this 4.06 ounces cellphone, way heavier than other similar devices.

This phone comes with a 61,44 MB internal storage, a low amount that could be adequate for some users considering that this phone also has a slot for an SD memory card to store pictures and videos.

This phone is equipped with only a 5 MP back side camera. The camera also features a high number of great features like auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

Sony designed this cellphone with a good 2.4" screen, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), providing this phone with a nice graphic quality.

This cellphone has fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone also features a couple of interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and Accelerometer.

This cellphone packs a 1000 mAh low capacity Li-Polymer battery that provides this phone a poor battery durationcompared to other cellphones. According to Sony, this phone has an estimated 10 hours talk time and a 450 hs stand by time.

This phone is priced around 269 dollars, which is not a really offer for a phone this level.
