ZTE Blade Vec 4G Review

ZTE Blade Vec 4G is a good quality cellphone, with a pretty large 5 inches capacitive touch-screen, a Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1.2 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. Let's take a better view of what this cellphone offers to us.

ZTE is offering this phone in black color. This phone is incredibly thin and stilized, being just 0.31" thick. The ZTE Blade Vec 4G just has 5.6 inches long, but it's able to fit a a 5" screen. ZTE did an excellent job making this phone as lightweight as 4.65 oz.

ZTE packed the ZTE Blade Vec 4G with a nice 5 inches display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look very good. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

ZTE decided to power this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8926 system chip, holding an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor running at 1.2 GHz with only 1 GB RAM which is a bit low for such a solid cellphone. To help with graphic rendering, the ZTE Blade Vec 4G also has an Adreno 305 GPU running at 450 MHz. The ZTE Blade Vec 4G counts with a 16 GB quite big internal memory and though it doesn't count with an external memory card slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and apps, although it might not be enough if you are fan of the largest games available nowadays or taking tons of photos and videos.

This phone offers WiFi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a wireless router), LTE (4G) fast connectivity and also HSPA+ connection type, a bit slower 4G technology and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera. It can also capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. The camera also has some interesting features like flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This cellphone also includes a couple of cool characteristics such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone features a big capacity 2300 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours, although you may find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some heavy use.

This phone is very overpriced considering it is offerred for 249 dollars, and other similar phones are sold for much less than that. It doesn't matter whether you are looking for a gamer device or want a social phone, this phone is probably a great choice for you.
