Comparison review
The Apple iPad 2 has a global score of 62.1, which is much better than Acer Iconia A1's global score of 55.4. The Apple iPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS, while Acer Iconia A1 counts with Android 4.1 OS. The Apple iPad 2 body is extremely thinner than the Acer Iconia A1, although it is notably heavier and was released 2 years before.
The Acer Iconia A1 has a more vivid display than iPad 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 768 x 1024, the Acer Iconia A1 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Acer Iconia A1 features a little bit better processing power than Apple iPad 2, because although it has a slower graphics co-processor running at 384 megahertz, it also counts with more cores and more RAM.
IPad 2 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Apple iPad 2 has a way better battery life than Acer Iconia A1, because it has a 40% bigger battery capacity.
Acer Iconia A1 takes much better pictures and videos than iPad 2, because it has a much better video quality and a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia A1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia A1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPad 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia A1, resigning a couple specifications.
