Comparison review
Apple iPad 2 has an overall score of 62.1, which is better than Acer Iconia A3's 55.2 score. The Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x OS, while Acer Iconia A3 comes with Android 4.2 OS. Despite of the fact Apple iPad 2 is incredibly older and a little bit heavier than the Acer Iconia A3, it's design is still somewhat thinner.
Acer Iconia A3 features a brighter display than Apple iPad 2, because it has a little bigger screen, a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a bit more pixels per inch of display. Acer Iconia A3 features a bit better processing unit than iPad 2, and although they both have a 400 MHz graphics co-processor, the Acer Iconia A3 also has 2 more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The iPad 2 has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Acer Iconia A3, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage. IPad 2 takes clearer pictures and videos than Acer Iconia A3, although it has a camera with way less MP resolution and a lot worse 1280x720 video definition.
The Apple iPad 2 has a really longer battery duration than Acer Iconia A3, because it has 6944mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia A3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia A3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia A3, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
