Comparison review
IPad 2 is much better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, with a score of 62.1 against 53.4. The iPad 2 is an older and notably heavier portable tablet than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, but Apple was able to build it just a little thinner anyway. The iPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system, while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD comes with Android 4.1 operating system.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a faster processing unit than iPad 2, and although they both have 2 cores, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also has a much better graphics processor running at 1.06 GHz and more RAM. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a bit more vivid screen than iPad 2, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 768 x 1024, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also counts with a higher pixel quantity in each display inch.
The iPad 2 has a superior memory to install applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal memory capacity. The iPad 2 features a much better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, although it has a lot worse 0.7 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
