Apple iPad Air has a global score of 77.9, which is a lot better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 score. Although Apple iPad Air and the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were released only 1 months apart, Apple iPad Air's body is somewhat thinner but notably heavier than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Apple iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 OS.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a bit more vivid screen than iPad Air, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher display pixels density.
