Comparison review
The iPad Air has a score of 77.7, which is a lot better than the Apple iPad 2's 59.2 overall score. IPad Air is a way newer tablet, and it's also somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than the Apple iPad 2. Both tablets in this review come with iOS OS (operating system), but the iPad Air has a more recent 8.x version while Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x version, so it gives you some nice extra features and increased performance.
The iPad Air counts with a quite superior performance than iPad 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the iPad Air also has a better graphics co-processor, a 64 bits processing unit and a greater amount of RAM memory. Apple iPad Air counts with a much more vibrant screen than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have a same size screen, the Apple iPad Air also has way more pixels per inch of screen and a way better 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution.
IPad Air shoots much clearer videos and photos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same aperture, the iPad Air also has a way better 5 megapixels resolution back camera and a way higher (Full HD) video quality. Apple iPad Air counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad 2, because it has more internal memory.
IPad Air counts with greater battery lifetime than iPad 2, because it has 8820mAh of battery capacity against 6944mAh.
The iPad Air is a bit more expensive than the iPad 2, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
