Comparison review
The iPad 2 has a global score of 62.1, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia W511's 59.5 global score. The iPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS, and Acer Iconia W511 works with Windows 8 Pro OS. IPad 2 is a a little bit thinner but a bit heavier device than Acer Iconia W511. Acer Iconia W511 features a brighter screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a just a bit greater pixels count per inch of display, a slightly higher 768 x 1366px resolution and a quite bigger screen.
The Acer Iconia W511 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the Acer Iconia W511 also counts with more RAM memory. Acer Iconia W511 captures just a bit better videos and photos than iPad 2, because it has a much higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Acer Iconia W511 counts with a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than iPad 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Acer Iconia W511 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 64 GB. Apple iPad 2 counts with a way better battery duration than Acer Iconia W511, because it has 6944mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia W511, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia W511. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Acer Iconia W511, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
