Comparison review
IPad Air is a lot better than iPad 2, having a 77.9 score against 62.1. Both of these devices come with iOS OS (operating system), but iPad Air has the newer 8.x version and iPad 2 has iOS 7.x version, so it provides a lot of extra features. The iPad Air construction is newer, thinner and much lighter than the iPad 2.
IPad Air features a much better screen than iPad 2, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the iPad Air also has a way better screen pixels density and a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px. The Apple iPad Air features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than iPad 2, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Apple iPad Air features a superior CPU than iPad 2, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Apple iPad Air also has more RAM, a better graphics co-processor working at 600 megahertz and a 64-bit processing unit. IPad Air has longer battery performance than iPad 2, because it has an 8820mAh battery capacity against 6944mAh.
The iPad Air captures greater pictures and videos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same aperture, the iPad Air also has a way higher video definition and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
