Comparison review
The iPad 2 is a bit better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, with a 62.1 score against 58.7. The iPad 2 is a just a little bit heavier but thinner device than Asus VivoTab Smart. IPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system, while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 operating system. Asus VivoTab Smart features a bit superior CPU than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have 2 cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a better graphics co-processor working at 533 MHz and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a slightly better looking screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a just a little greater amount of pixels in each screen inch, a quite better 768 x 1366 resolution and a little bit larger display. The Asus VivoTab Smart's memory to install applications and games is very similar to iPad 2's one, they have the same 64 GB internal storage.
The Asus VivoTab Smart shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Apple iPad 2, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, a larger aperture to take better captures in low light environments and a lot higher 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back. The Apple iPad 2 counts with a very superior battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus VivoTab Smart. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
