Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is better than Apple iPad 2's global score of 62.1. The Galaxy Note 8.0 construction is newer, a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter than Apple iPad 2. Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x OS. Galaxy Note 8.0 features a more powerful processing unit than iPad 2, because it has 2 more processing cores, 1,5 GB more RAM memory and a much better graphics processing unit working at 1064 MHz.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a more vivid display than iPad 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a slightly better resolution of 800 x 1280px.
