Comparison review
IPad 2 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab, getting a score of 62.1 against 58.6. IPad 2's body is extremely thinner but way heavier than Galaxy Tab, and both were released with only a few months difference. IPad 2 works with iOS 7.x operating system, while Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 operating system.
The Galaxy Tab has a little sharper display than Apple iPad 2, because although it has a way smaller display and a little worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen. IPad 2 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a 512 MB RAM memory, the iPad 2 also has 1 more 1000 megahertz cores and an extra graphics processing unit.
IPad 2 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. IPad 2 counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab, because it has 6944mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Galaxy Tab has a camera that's just as good as the iPad 2 one, and although the Galaxy Tab has a way better 3 megapixels resolution back facing camera, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
