The Apple iPad 2 has an overall score of 62.1, which is a little bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 overall score. The Apple iPad 2 construction is incredibly older, just a bit thicker and heavier than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Apple iPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x OS, while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD works with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a more vivid display than Apple iPad 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1200 x 1920px resolution and way more pixels per screen inch. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit better processing unit than Apple iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.
The Apple iPad 2 has a better storage capacity for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. IPad 2 features better battery life than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 6944mAh battery size.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes greater photographs and videos than Apple iPad 2, because it has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera, a larger camera aperture to take better low-light photos and a much better video quality.
