Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is just a bit better than iPad 3, getting a 73.9 score against 67.7. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 works with Android 4.4.2 OS, while iPad 3 comes with iOS 7.x OS. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is newer, noticeably lighter and incredibly thinner than iPad 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a better performing processor than iPad 3, because it has an extra graphics processing unit, a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a slightly better screen than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a better screen density. The Apple iPad 3 counts with a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The iPad 3 captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a camera with way less mega pixels resolution and a worse (Full HD) video resolution. The Apple iPad 3 features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity against 4800mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also cheaper, which makes it a simple decision.
