Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate has an overall score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPad Air's 77.9 score. The Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, and Apple iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x OS. Google Pixel Slate is a a lot newer and just a little thinner tablet than the Apple iPad Air, but it is much heavier.
The iPad Air has a little better performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad Air also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics co-processor. Apple iPad Air counts with a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a way smaller display, a lot lower 1536 x 2048 resolution and a just a little worse display pixels density.
Google Pixel Slate has a slightly better camera than iPad Air, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Google Pixel Slate also has a way more MP back camera and a way larger aperture for better images and video in low light situations.
Google Pixel Slate has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPad Air, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. IPad Air counts with a superior battery life than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPad Air. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the iPad Air, letting go a couple features and specs.
