Apple iPad Air has an overall score of 77.9, which is a lot better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 8's 64.8 score. Apple iPad Air is a thinner and much lighter tablet than the Microsoft Surface Pro 8. The Apple iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has Windows 11 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 8 counts with a bit faster CPU than Apple iPad Air, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor and a 32-bits processor instead of 64-bits, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Apple iPad Air has just a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 8, although it has a quite worse screen density, a lot worse 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot smaller screen. The iPad Air takes much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 8, although it has a much worse 5 MP resolution back facing camera.
