Apple iPad Air has an overall score of 77.9, which is way better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 overall score. Apple iPad Air is a newer tablet, and it is also way thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). The Apple iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x OS, and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 OS.
IPad Air features a very superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the iPad Air also has an extra graphics co-processor and a 64 bits processing unit.
