The Apple iPad Air is much better than Galaxy Tab, having a 77.9 score against 58.6. The Apple iPad Air design is noticeably newer and way thinner than the Galaxy Tab's, although it is notably heavier. The Apple iPad Air has iOS 8.x OS, while Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 OS. The iPad Air features a way better looking screen than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way greater amount of pixels per display inch, a way bigger display and a lot better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The Apple iPad Air features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Apple iPad Air counts with a much powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, a 64 bits CPU, an additional graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
The iPad Air counts with a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has an 8820mAh battery size against 4000mAh. The iPad Air shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video quality and a back camera with a way higher 5 mega-pixels resolution.
The iPad Air costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
