Although it's the best in this review, we must highlight that it's also much heavier and just a little bit thicker. The iPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 works with Android 4.4.2 OS.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a CPU that's very similar to iPad Air's CPU, because although the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a 32 bits CPU against 64-bits and a weaker graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little sharper screen than Apple iPad Air, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1600.
Apple iPad Air has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Apple iPad Air takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a camera in the back with a much worse resolution.
The iPad Air counts with a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an 84% more battery size.
