Comparison review
The iPad Air 2 is just a bit better than iPad Air, having a 77.1 score against 75.7. Both tablets in our current comparison include the same iOS 8.x OS. IPad Air 2 is a newer tablet, and it's also a bit lighter and a lot thinner than iPad Air. IPad Air 2 and iPad Air both count with very similar screens, they have the same amount of pixels per inch in the display, a display with the same size and the same resolution of 2048 x 1536.
IPad Air features a bit better processing power than iPad Air 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a 64 bits CPU, the iPad Air also counts with a graphics processing unit and 1 more cores. The iPad Air 2 counts with just a bit better camera than iPad Air, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the iPad Air 2 also has a much higher resolution camera.
The iPad Air 2 counts with as much memory for apps and games as the Apple iPad Air one, they have exactly the same internal storage. IPad Air counts with better battery lifetime than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has an 8820mAh battery size.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the iPad Air 2 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it an obvious call.
