The Apple iPad Air is a little bit better than the iPad mini 2, having a score of 77.7 against 72.1. Apple iPad Air's body has the same thickness than the iPad mini 2, but it is way heavier. These tablets come with the same iOS 8.x OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features.
