Comparison review
The Apple iPad mini is slightly better than the Apple iPad 2, with a score of 68.1 against 62.1. Both tablets in this comparison review come with iOS OS (operating system), but the Apple iPad mini has a more recent 8.x version while Apple iPad 2 has iOS 7.x, giving you some nice extra features and better performance. Apple iPad mini is a somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter portable tablet than the Apple iPad 2.
Apple iPad mini features a more vivid screen than Apple iPad 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 768 x 1024, the Apple iPad mini also counts with a just a little greater screen density. Apple iPad 2's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Apple iPad mini, both of them have a Dual-Core CPU, a 400 MHz graphics processing unit and the same RAM memory amount.
The Apple iPad mini has a greater camera than Apple iPad 2, and although they both have a F2.4 aperture, the Apple iPad mini also has a much better video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution. The Apple iPad 2's memory capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Apple iPad mini one, both have exactly the same internal memory.
IPad 2 features a way better battery duration than Apple iPad mini, because it has a 56 percent bigger battery capacity.
