Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than the Apple iPad mini, getting a overall score of 75.8 against 68.1. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) body is just a bit thicker and much heavier than Apple iPad mini. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Apple iPad mini comes with iOS 8.x OS.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a more vivid screen than Apple iPad mini, because it has a much better pixels amount per inch in the display, a larger screen and a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. IPad mini features just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a more powerful processing unit than iPad mini, because it has a larger number of faster cores, more RAM and a much better 450 MHz graphics co-processor. The iPad mini takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a much worse resolution camera and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
