Comparison review
Apple iPad mini is better than Asus VivoTab, with a 68.1 score against 57.5. Apple iPad mini is a noticeably lighter and thinner tablet than the Asus VivoTab. The Apple iPad mini comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 OS. The Asus VivoTab counts with a little faster processing unit than Apple iPad mini, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also has a much better graphics co-processor running at 533 megahertz and a higher amount of RAM.
The iPad mini has a slightly better looking screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Apple iPad mini's memory capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as Asus VivoTab's one, and although the Apple iPad mini has no external memory card slot, they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The iPad mini counts with a lot better camera than Asus VivoTab, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video resolution and a back camera with a way lower 5 mega pixels resolution. Apple iPad mini features a way better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab.
The iPad mini is a little more expensive than the Asus VivoTab, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
