Comparison review
IPad 2 is slightly better than Asus VivoTab Smart, having a 62.1 score against 58.7. The iPad 2 has iOS 7.x operating system, while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 operating system. The iPad 2 design is somewhat thinner but just a bit heavier than Asus VivoTab Smart. The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a little sharper screen than Apple iPad 2, because it has a little bit higher 768 x 1366 resolution, a little larger display and a just a bit better screen pixel density.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a little bit better hardware performance than iPad 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a much better graphics co-processor working at 533 megahertz and a greater amount of RAM memory. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a better camera than iPad 2, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back camera, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light images and videos and a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition.
IPad 2's storage for games and applications is very similar to the Asus VivoTab Smart one, and although the iPad 2 has no slot for an SD memory card, they both have equal 64 GB internal memory. The iPad 2 has a way better battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Asus VivoTab Smart, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
