Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 is a bit better than Microsoft Surface 2, having a 66 score against 61.8. Apple iPad 3 is an older and a little bit thicker tablet than Microsoft Surface 2, but Apple could make it just a little lighter anyway. The Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 7.x operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 operating system.
The iPad 3 features a much better display than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a better pixels count per inch in the screen. Apple iPad 3 features as much memory to store more apps and games as the Microsoft Surface 2 one, and although the Apple iPad 3 has no external memory card slot, they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a little bit better processing power than Apple iPad 3, because it has more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. IPad 3 counts with a superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2. IPad 3 takes a lot better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, Apple iPad 3 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
