Comparison review
The iPad 2 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), getting a global score of 62.1 against 61.4. IPad 2 works with iOS 7.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with Android 4.1 OS. Despite of the fact iPad 2 is older and just a bit heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), it's construction is still somewhat thinner.
IPad 2 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad 2 also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a little more vivid screen than iPad 2, because it has a little bit better pixel amount in each screen inch, a little bit larger display and a quite better 800 x 1280 resolution.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a camera with way more megapixels. The Apple iPad 2 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a bit better battery duration than iPad 2, because it has a 1% bigger battery size.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
