The iPad 2 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, having a 62.1 score against 61.7. IPad 2 has iOS 7.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE works with Android 4.1 OS. Although the iPad 2 is older and much heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, it's construction is still somewhat thinner. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little faster CPU than iPad 2, and although they both have 2 CPU cores and a 400 megahertz GPU, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has 512 MB more RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little bit better display than iPad 2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit lower 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a greater pixels count per inch in the screen. The iPad 2 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a slightly better camera than iPad 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a camera in the back with much more mega pixels. Apple iPad 2 counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 6944mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPad 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a couple features and specs.
