Comparison review
IPad 2 is better than Sony Tablet P, with a 62.1 score against 55.7. IPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system, while Sony Tablet P comes with Android 4.0.3 operating system. Even though the iPad 2 and the Sony Tablet P were released with only a few months difference, the iPad 2 construction is heavier but a lot thinner.
The iPad 2 has a little faster processing unit than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 2 cores, the iPad 2 also counts with an extra GPU. Sony Tablet P counts with a slightly better screen than iPad 2, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 480 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot better display density.
IPad 2 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Tablet P, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Apple iPad 2 counts with a way better battery performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 6944mAh battery size against 3080mAh.
The iPad 2 features a bit better camera than Sony Tablet P, although it has a lot worse resolution back camera and a lower video definition.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Tablet P, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Tablet P. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Sony Tablet P, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
