Comparison review
The iPad 2 is better than Toshiba Encore, with a score of 62.1 against 56.2. IPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system, while Toshiba Encore works with Windows 8.1 operating system. IPad 2 is a thinner but extremely heavier tablet than Toshiba Encore. The Toshiba Encore counts with a bit superior processing unit than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster) and a higher amount of RAM.
The Toshiba Encore features a much better screen than iPad 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 800 x 1280px resolution and a greater pixels number per inch of screen. Apple iPad 2 counts with a very superior memory for apps and games than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Toshiba Encore has a slightly better camera than Apple iPad 2, because it has a back camera with much more mega pixels. The iPad 2 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Toshiba Encore, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Toshiba Encore. If you want to save some money, you can get Toshiba Encore, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
