Comparison review
IPad Air has an overall score of 77.9, which is much better than the Toshiba Encore's overall score of 56.2. The iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Toshiba Encore counts with Windows 8.1 operating system. IPad Air is a just a bit heavier but much thinner device than the Toshiba Encore.
IPad Air has a bit superior CPU than Toshiba Encore, because although it has a lower number of cores and slower and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and an extra graphics processing unit. The iPad Air features a bit sharper screen than Toshiba Encore, because it has a way better 1536 x 2048px resolution, a bigger display and more pixels per inch of screen.
IPad Air features much more storage capacity for games and applications than Toshiba Encore, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. IPad Air counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Toshiba Encore. IPad Air captures much clearer photographs and videos than Toshiba Encore, although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution.
Apple iPad Air is more expensive than Toshiba Encore, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
