Comparison review
IPad 2 has a global score of 62.1, which is much better than Toshiba Excite 13's 55.4 overall score. The iPad 2 comes with iOS 7.x OS, while Toshiba Excite 13 has Android 4.0 OS. The iPad 2 design is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than Toshiba Excite 13, although it was released around a year before.
The Toshiba Excite 13 counts with a brighter display than iPad 2, because it has a better resolution of 900 x 1600px, a little higher screen pixels density and a really larger screen. Apple iPad 2 has as much storage for games and applications as Toshiba Excite 13, and although the Apple iPad 2 has no SD extension slot, they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Toshiba Excite 13 features a bit better hardware performance than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of cores (and also faster). Apple iPad 2 features a very superior battery lifetime than Toshiba Excite 13. The iPad 2 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Toshiba Excite 13, although it has a way worse (HD) video definition and a back camera with way less megapixels resolution.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the iPad 2 is also a lot cheaper.
