Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a solid tablet device, coming with a fast Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1000 MHz, a huge 10.1" touch-screen, and two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.

Samsung ships this tablet with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 system chip, including a powerful 1000 megahertz Dual-Core processor and 1 GB RAM. The Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a 16 GB interesting internal storage and while it doesn't include an SD memory card expansion slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and applications, but it might not be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games available nowadays or taking tons of pictures and videos.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is offerred in two color options, white and gray. Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 20.99 oz tablet. The Tab 10.1 LTE has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.34". This tablet is a very compact tablet, taking into account that it packs a 10.1 inches screen and it's only 10.09" long.

Samsung packed this tablet with a good 10.1-inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , making everything look good. This screen uses Super PLS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This tablet has wifi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a router or modem), LTE (4G) high performance internet connection and 3G data connection, using EV-DO A technologies. This tablet doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled tablet and it can work with CDMA networks.

The Tab 10.1 LTE features two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. It can also film 1280x720 HD videos. The camera also includes auto-focus and flash.

This tablet comes with a big capacity 6800 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours without having to charge it at all. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins losing capacity, whereas with its 6800 mAh you will probably replace this tablet before it becomes an issue.

This tablet also features some useful characteristics like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device is really overpriced considering it is offerred for $ 400, and some similar devices are a lot cheaper than that. This device is definitely a very good choice for you no matter whether you want a device to mostly use social networks, you love taking photos, are looking for a portable tablet for gaming or are looking for a tablet for work.
