Comparison review
The iPhone 8 has a general score of 85, which is slightly better than the Google Pixel 3 XL's score of 80.7. IPhone 8 is an older phone than the Google Pixel 3 XL, but Apple managed to make it just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter. The Apple iPhone 8 features a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Google Pixel 3 XL has just a bit better screen than iPhone 8, because it has a lot higher display pixels density, a much better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a really bigger screen. The Apple iPhone 8 has just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 3 XL, although it has a lesser mega-pixels back facing camera, a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 256 GB internal storage. Google Pixel 3 XL features a way better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3 XL. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3 XL, resigning a couple specs and features.
