Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 has a general score of 85, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a's 78.8 overall score. Although Apple iPhone 8 is older and just a little bit heavier than Google Pixel 3a, it's body is still just a bit thinner. The iPhone 8 counts with a better performance than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has lesser cpu cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Google Pixel 3a features a screen that's very similar to the display in iPhone 8, although the Google Pixel 3a also has a greater pixel number in each inch of display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a bigger screen. The Apple iPhone 8 features just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 3a, although it has a worse (4K) video quality, a smaller back camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photos and a less mega pixels resolution back camera, they both have a same size camera aperture.
IPhone 8 counts with a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Google Pixel 3a features a much better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 3a, giving up some features and specifications.
