Comparison review
The iPhone 8 is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, having an 85 score against 78.9. Although the iPhone 8 is older than Google Pixel 3a XL, it's design is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner. The iPhone 8 counts with a little more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it has a much lower resolution of 750 x 1334, a way smaller screen and a bit inferior pixel count in each inch in the display.
The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a better processor than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has less cpu cores and 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The iPhone 8 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has more internal storage capacity.
Google Pixel 3a XL features a superior battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity. The iPhone 8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it has a less megapixels camera in the back, a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a smaller back-facing camera sensor, they both have a same size aperture.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 3a XL. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
