IPhone 8 is an a lot older cellphone than the Google Pixel 6a, but Apple managed to build it thinner and somewhat lighter. IPhone 8 features a much more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 6 processing cores, the iPhone 8 also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a bit sharper display than Google Pixel 6a, although it has a lot worse resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels, a way smaller display and a little bit lower pixel quantity in each inch of screen. The iPhone 8 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 6a, although it has a lower (4K) video resolution, a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures in low-light environments and a worse 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
IPhone 8 features much more memory to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 6a, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Google Pixel 6a has a very superior battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 4410mAh battery size instead of 1821mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 6a. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Google Pixel 6a, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
