Comparison review
The iPhone 8 is a bit better than the HTC U11, having an 85 score against 77.6. Although iPhone 8 and HTC U11 were released with only a couple of months difference, iPhone 8 is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter. HTC U11 counts with a bit sharper screen than iPhone 8, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560px, a bigger screen and a way better number of pixels per screen inch.
The iPhone 8 has a bit better processing unit than HTC U11, because although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU. The iPhone 8 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC U11, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
HTC U11 counts with a very superior battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity against 1821mAh. The Apple iPhone 8 captures clearer photos and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier camera sensor and a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same resolution back facing camera, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rates.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC U11. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC U11, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
