Comparison review
Apple iPhone 8 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, getting a general score of 85 against 82.9. The Apple iPhone 8 is an older phone than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but Apple made it somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has much more pixels per inch of screen, a much bigger display and a way better 1440 x 3120 resolution.
The iPhone 8 counts with a bit faster CPU than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a lower number of cores and slower and 4 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots better pictures and videos than iPhone 8, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot higher resolution camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality photos.
The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a superior memory to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a superior battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
