Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is a bit better than the iPhone 8's 85 overall score. The Huawei Mate X construction is a lot newer than the iPhone 8's, although it is way thicker and a lot heavier. IPhone 8 has a little faster processor than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores and slower, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
Huawei Mate X has a bit more vivid display than iPhone 8, because it has a better display density, a really bigger display and a much better resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels. The Huawei Mate X has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 8, because it has more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate X has a really longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 1821mAh. The iPhone 8 features a superior camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lot tinier sensor capturing less light and dull colors and a lot worse resolution camera, they both have a same size camera aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than Apple iPhone 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Apple iPhone 8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Apple iPhone 8, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
