Apple iPhone 8 has a score of 85, which is a little bit better than Huawei nova 5T's overall score of 80.8. The Apple iPhone 8 is an older phone than the Huawei nova 5T, but Apple could make it lighter and just a little bit thinner. The Apple iPhone 8 has just a bit better performance than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has 2 less and slower CPU cores and 4 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
Huawei nova 5T has a display that is very similar to iPhone 8's display, although the Huawei nova 5T also has a greater pixels quantity in each display inch, a really larger display and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Apple iPhone 8 counts with much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei nova 5T, because it has 128 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei nova 5T has a much longer battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 3750mAh battery capacity. Huawei nova 5T features a much better camera than iPhone 8, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same video definition, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a much larger camera sensor taking way higher quality photographs and videos.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei nova 5T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei nova 5T. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei nova 5T, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
