Comparison review
The iPhone 8 is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Lite, having an 85 score against 79.5. The iPhone 8 design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite, although it was released 3 years before. IPhone 8 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 2 lesser cores (although faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
IPhone 8 counts with a little sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a quite worse screen pixels density, a way smaller display and a way worse resolution of 750 x 1334px. IPhone 8 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P40 Lite features a superior battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 131% greater battery capacity. Huawei P40 Lite takes slightly better photos and videos than iPhone 8, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution and a same size aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a way bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone 8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs.
