The iPhone 8 has a score of 85, which is a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018)'s 79.2 general score. The iPhone 8 body is somewhat thinner and lighter than Galaxy A8 (2018), although they were released with only a couple of months difference. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a little sharper display than iPhone 8, because it has a better pixel density, a larger screen and a way higher 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The iPhone 8 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has lesser CPU cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Apple iPhone 8 takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos in low light situations, it also counts with a much better video definition.
