Comparison review

The iPhone 8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 5, having an 85 score against 79.3. The iPhone 8 is a noticeably newer cellphone, and it's also lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Note 5. Apple iPhone 8 features a greater processing power than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and a 64-bits processing unit.

The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a much better display than iPhone 8, because it has a much higher pixels amount per inch of screen, a way higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a larger screen. The iPhone 8 features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor, a worse video quality and a back-facing camera with a much worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better captures in low light situations.

IPhone 8 has much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has more internal storage. The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a much longer battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 65% larger battery capacity.

Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Apple iPhone 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note 5, resigning a couple features and specifications.
