Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is just a bit better than the iPhone 8, getting a score of 85.7 against 85. Galaxy S6 Edge is an older cellphone than iPhone 8, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat lighter and a little thinner anyway. Galaxy S6 Edge has an incredibly better looking screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a little bigger screen, a way greater screen density and a lot better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The iPhone 8 features a much bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy S6 Edge's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Apple iPhone 8, and although the Galaxy S6 Edge has a graphics co-processor, a higher number of cores and more RAM, they both have a 64-bits CPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a very superior battery life than iPhone 8, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh. The Apple iPhone 8 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a worse (4K) video definition, a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs and a lot less mega-pixels back camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a bit more than the iPhone 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the iPhone 8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get iPhone 8, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
